Current happy pose? Headstand  

Current nemesis pose? Mayurasana  

What is your favorite food? Avocado  

Why do you teach yoga? To become a better person and learn how to serve others. It gives me an amazing discipline and an opportunity to go deeper into the practice.

One thing you do every day? I pray

Brown Rice or Quinoa? Both. But quinoa beats brown rice as better source of iron, protein, and amino acids.

What is your favorite bad habit? Finishing jar of ice cream in one sitting  

Good book recommendation? "Yoga Vasishtha" and Sharon Salzberg's "Faith"

What is your best asana tip? Go deeper within and breathe. The breath can comfort you and slow down the mind. Concentrating on how the pose feels rather than how it looks.

What is your favorite yama/niyama? Yama: Ahimsa and Satya - love these two. They are a big reminder for me during the day when I have to communicate with other people. Niyama: Svadhyaya and Tapas - self study and spiritual effort -  keeping me on the right track.
